Join us for a hands-on cheese-making workshop at Early Dawn Farm! Using farm fresh, cow’s milk, you’ll learn the art of crafting traditional Latin American cheese from start to finish. Under the guidance of Dr. Yamily Zavala, you’ll create flavorful cheeses to take home while mastering simple yet effective techniques

THIS WORKSHOP IS NON-REFUNDABLE
Early Dawn Farm will provide all the tools and ingredients needed, including butter muslin and food-grade pails for pressing the Churuguara cheese made in class for each participant to take home.
During the workshop, Dr. Zavala will share stories of her travels and introduce you to the cheeses she loves from her home country of Venezuela. You’ll not only sample a variety of Latin American cheeses but also gain the knowledge and confidence to start making your own at home.
Farm-Style Potluck Lunch
We’ll break for a delicious lunch featuring freshly made arepas with a potluck twist! Dr. Zavala will provide the fresh, warm Arepas, and Palmita cheese, and participants are encouraged to bring tasty fillings such as pulled pork, ground beef, black beans, or other favorites.
